I can completely understand why people will vote for Barack Obama.

Especially on domestic issues like healthcare and taxation when compared to the sheer atrociousness of Romney and the GOP.

This alone however is not a decent basis for ignoring support for drone strikes on civilian populations, corporatism, indefinite detention without trial, or suppression of whistleblowers by any individual.

Moral consistency makes for awkward interpersonal dilemmas.
